Weather Forecast for Mexico City on March 6

The National Meteorological Service (SMN) has revealed the weather forecast for Thursday, March 6, 2025, in the Valley of Mexico. A day with mixed conditions is expected in the region, with different outlooks regarding the amount of rainfall in Mexico City and surrounding areas.

In Mexico City, a day with minimal or even absent rainfall is expected throughout the day. In the afternoon, a warm environment with partly cloudy skies and temperatures between 26 and 28°C is anticipated. If rain occurs, it will be light, with accumulations of 0.1 to 5 mm in 24 hours, affecting some municipalities in a localized manner.

The wind will remain moderate, with possible gusts of up to 40 km/h from the southwest, mainly in elevated and open areas. These conditions are expected not to significantly affect daily activities in the region. The estimated minimum temperature will range between 10 and 12°C, leading to a cool start to the day for residents, advising them to wear appropriate clothing for the cold in the early hours of the day.

Despite the forecast of sporadic and low-intensity rainfall, intervals of showers could occur in some areas of the State of Mexico and Tlaxcala. A cool environment is expected in the morning, with partly cloudy skies and the presence of haze in some areas throughout the day, increasing the sensation of humidity in the region.

The SMN reported that isolated rain is expected in the State of Mexico and Tlaxcala due to the flow of moisture from the Pacific Ocean and instability at mid-levels of the atmosphere. Thus, a day with variable climatic conditions in the Valley of Mexico is expected on March 6.
